Q. What's this blcamp.com web site all about?
A. It's just my personal web site - a place where friends and relatives can check out what I'm up to, and for (other) perfect strangers to waste time.

Q. There ain't much here to see.
A. True enough. It's just a hobby of mine. But I work on it when I have free time.

Q. How about photos?
A. They're there. Really. A while back I had posted some photos of myself from a trip I took about a year ago, in addition to a couple of photos from some of my earlier travels. More will be here at some point, but I am not ready to post them all just yet. One of the things I am working on is a way to show friends some photos that I don't necessarily want to show perfect strangers, yet let others see the pictures I'm willing to show off. Once I decide on how I will do that, I'll make the rest of my Photo Album available for browsing.

Q. So when will everything be done?
A. I have no idea and I won't promise anything other than I will be done someday.

Q. What's up with the Highways section?
A. The Highways section of this web site represents a combining of two hobbies I have: computers, and highways. This section allows me to explore my longtime interest in Michigan (and other) highways, while at the same time occasionally goofing off with my computer, putting this web site together. Also, I can share with fellow road enthusiasts stories, pictures, and project (and other) informaton regarding our highways. Don't laugh - it's really been a quite facinating and even (believe or not) a rewarding pursuit.

Q. Why is there a "Donate Button" on your web site?
A. It's there for anyone who wishes to support my web site, or make a make monetary donation to me for whatever reason. Note that this is strictly a free-will, optional, voluntary act of kindness on your part if you so choose to make a donation to my web site. (I am not selling anything here on my web site, neither products or services, of any kind.) Any help you give is very much appreciated.

Q. What's with all the legal nonsense on your web site?
A. To protect myself from the idiots who try to sue people that don't post any legal nonsense on thier web sites. That's why this page and this page were among the first I actually published on this site.

Q. Is your web site really 10 years old?
A. Yes and no. On September 22, 1995 I created my first personal web site. It wasn't much, but hey, I was online. Since then, I have always had a personal web site in one form or another. This current one (with my own domain name) is only about 5 years old. Nonetheless, in 2005 I will mark 10 years on the World Wide Web.
